Biography
Dr Yasmen Alfaisal (DDS;PGDip-Endodontics and Restorative Dentistry, PGDip GDP [Otago]; MPhil- Endodontics[University of Queensland]) is a highly skilled dentist with a special interest in Endodontics, bringing more than eighteen years of combined academic, research, and clinical experience across multiple places including New Zealand and Australia. Dr Alfaisal researched the clinical aspects of advanced root canal treatment, vital pulp therapy, and restorative care, combining precise, minimally invasive techniques with evidence-based practice to preserve natural dentition.
Dr Alfaisal currently serves as a Clinical Supervisor at the University of Queensland and Metro North Oral Health Centre. She previously worked at the University of Otago – School of Dentistry within the Department of Oral Rehabilitation, where she was appointed as a Professional Practice Fellow, supervising and teaching undergraduate dental students while providing multidisciplinary clinical care. Her clinical research background focused on restorative materials and pulp therapy.
